Announcement and Call for Papers

Dear guests,

    With the rapid development of modern agriculture, the food safety and environmental issues are increasingly becoming major public and governmental concerns in the world. Since the epidemic diseases in livestock farms are more and more sever, it is necessary to investigate and develop new animal production systems for improving the health and disease resistance of animals. Moreover, the development and application of bio-energy have been extensively conducted to solve the energy shortage and higher energy price issues.
    On behalf of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineers (CSAE) and China Agricultural University, we are delight to invite you to attend and make contribution to The International Forum on Bio-environmental and Bio-energy Engineering, China (2008-IFBBE). The forum is scheduled to be held during October 15-17, 2008, in Beijing, China.
   The forum will provide a platform for related experts, researchers and other professionals to exchange research findings, opinions and extension experiences. The latest achievements and near future (5 years) trends of Bio-environment and Bio-energy Engineering together with its key roles in the modern agriculture development will all be focused on the 2008-IFBBE.

    1. Current situation and trends of bio-environmental and bio-energy engineering;
    2. Development and trends of new animal production systems;
    3. Development and trends of new greenhouse production systems;
    4. Development and trends of bio-energy;
    5. Education program in the field of bio-environmental and bio-energy engineering.
