Research topics

Main focus of the research is to integrate the dynamic responses of living organisms in the monitoring and control of biological processes. The approach of systems biology to humans, animals and plants. The application of data-based mechanistic models to control the microenvironment in fluids around living organisms and to the responses of living organisms. The use of data-based mechanistic models to gain insight in biological processes: Precision engineering for humans, Precision livestock farming and precision engineering for plants.

•  Integration of on-line Bio-response signals for driver sleepiness monitoring and prediction

•  Development of predictive models for intensive care patients
